Wildcat

Shown to your right is a 1968 Buick Wildcat. This project fits under the "Complete Restoration" category and is described as follows:

We wanted to take the Wildcat body, which was severely rusted, and turn it into a convertible. Since the body was so badly rusted, and we could not find a good parts car that was a convertible, we had to have a hardtop tub shipped up from California.

We removed the top of the tub and in place, installed the rear and windshield post of the convertible.

The motor, transmission and rear differential on the car were rebuilt.

We installed new brakes all around, as well as stripped, replaced or restored all other necessary components on the car.

After the mechanical aspects were taken care of, we repainted the car Factory Red, leaving only the interior to be completed.
